How do I log into my health insurance online portal?

Almost all health insurance companies offer an online portal where you can view your benefits, make payments, and find a doctor. 

• Go to your insurance company's website and select “Create an account” or “Register.”
• For many companies, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Oscar, and Kaiser, you'll use your unique subscriber ID to verify your account.
• Some websites let you use your Social Security number to set up your account.
• You'll then create a unique username and password.

If you don't have your subscriber ID or can't access your account for another reason, don't worry! 

If your plan started within the past 10 business days, your insurance company may still be processing your application and adding your information to its database. If you can't register online, that does not mean your coverage is inactive. If you've successfully made your first insurance payment, your coverage is active. 

We recommend waiting the full 10 business days after your plan starts before trying to register online.
