I missed the eligibility deadline. Can I still get my stipend for the April - June quarter?
Unfortunately, the deadline for each quarterly stipend is firm, and we cannot pay drivers who do not complete the required steps by the deadline.
Does this mean I am no longer eligible for any future stipends?
Not at all! This program runs on a quarterly basis. Missing one deadline does not impact your eligibility for future quarters. You are welcome to sign up for Stride Save* and submit proof of enrollment in a qualifying health plan. If you qualify for the stipend in a subsequent quarter and complete the required steps, you will be paid.
What is my next opportunity to get paid?
The next eligibility period is for the third quarter of 2025.
- Qualification Period: July 1, 2025 – September 30, 2025
- Deadline: October 31, 2025
- Payment: November 15, 2025
What do I need to do to be eligible for the next quarter?
To be eligible for the next stipend payment, you must meet these requirements during the third quarter (July 1, 2025 - September 30, 2025):
- You must be an active driver for Uber and/or Lyft in Massachusetts.
- You need to average at least 15 "Engaged Hours" per week during a 3-month qualification period. Engaged Hours are the time from accepting a trip until dropping off the rider, including driving to the pickup. Hours worked for both Uber and Lyft are combined.
- You must enroll in a qualifying health plan.
