Why have my payments been paused?
We didn't receive proof of enrollment in a qualifying health plan by the required deadline after you submitted a Statement of Intent. While you received the stipend for the previous quarter, your payments have been paused.
Next steps:
- If you qualify for a stipend next quarter, you cannot use the "I will buy insurance" option.
- To receive future stipends, you must provide proof of enrollment as soon as possible.
- Any prior stipend payments made to you may be deducted from future stipend payments.
What happens if I submit proof of insurance after the deadline?
If Stride receives proof of valid insurance past the deadline, a penalty will be applied to your next payment. Any prior stipend payments made to you will be deducted from future payments. For example:
- If you were paid a partial stipend of $537 on 8/15/2025 and qualify for a partial stipend again the next cycle, your next payment will be $0.
- If you were paid a partial stipend of $537 on 8/15/2025 and qualify for a full stipend of $1,074 the next cycle, your next payment will be $537.
