It's important to know that Renaissance only refunds premium payments in the following circumstances:
- You canceled before the 1st of the month or before, but were still charged
- You were charged more than your expected premium
- You are within the plan's 10-day free look period from when you enrolled
Non-use of the plan is not an accepted circumstance for Renaissance to grant a refund.
Once your refund has been approved, Renaissance offers refunds within 10-15 days of request. It will be issued in the form of a check that will be mailed to you based on your current mailing address.
Note:
- If Renaissance receives a written refund request, they will respond in writing.
- If it is a phone request, Renaissance will explain the refund process over the phone and will not send anything in writing outside of the refund.
