You can edit/delete a manual mileage entry or expense by going to the "Taxes" tab of your app, selecting "View Transactions," tapping on the entry, and either editing it to include the proper deduction details or deleting it.
Unfortunately, you cannot edit a recorded drive. You'll need to delete the incorrectly recorded drive, and then manually add in the drive with the appropriate mileage! Please refer to this article to learn how to manually add a drive.

Follow these steps to edit a deduction entry:
- On the home screen in the Stride app, tap on the "Taxes" icon to the left of the yellow "+" button to open your Tax Dashboard.
- Once on the "2024 Tax Dashboard" screen (want a different tax year? Tap on the header to filter to a prior year), select "View Transactions" under the business profit graph.
- This will pull up your 2024 Deductions with two columns, "Deductions" and "Income." Under "Deductions," you will find a list of all your 2024 deductions (so far). Tap on the deduction entry you would like to edit.
- Tap on "Edit" in the upper right-hand corner of the next screen to continue making changes to this deduction entry.
- To Edit Mileage simply click on the "Pencil" icon on the top right-hand corner
- Complete any modifications on this deduction/manual mileage entry. Examples: Amount of deduction or mileage, date, usage for work, or the job category.
- Select the "Save" option at the top of the screen.
- Review the saved changes to your deduction entry.
- Hit the back arrow to be taken back to the 2024 Deductions screen.
Follow these steps to delete a deduction entry:

- Once on the "2024 Tax Dashboard" screen (want a different tax year? Tap on the header to filter to a prior year), select "View Transactions" under the business profit graph.
- This will pull up your 2024 Deductions with two columns, "Deductions" and "Income." Under "Deductions," you will find a list of all your 2024 deductions (so far). Tap on the deduction entry you would like to delete.
- Tap on "Edit" in the upper right-hand corner of the next screen to continue making changes to this deduction entry.
- Tap on the three-dot menu in the upper right-hand corner of the screen
- Select "Delete Expense" from the drop-down menu
- Confirm you'd like to delete this expense by selecting "Delete" (to go back, simply tap on the "Cancel" button)
- If you're deleting Mileage simply click on the "trash can" icon after clicking on the mileage entry you would like to delete and select "OK"
- Once the "Delete" option has been deleted, you will be taken back to the 2024 Deductions screen where you can see your selected entry is no longer listed.
