Yes, absolutely! You can track multiple jobs with the Stride app. There is a "job tagging" feature that lets you separate your mileage by job. This will allow you to tag mileage and expenses to specific job categories (rideshare, delivery, etc.).
To update your app's job settings, go to your app's profile at the top left corner of the main screen:
Select "Settings" > "My Jobs" > Tap on the job categories you'd like to track with Stride, then click "Save"!
After you've added additional jobs to your account, you can mark each expense and mileage record with the job that you were working on when you incurred the expense.
An important note about this topic:
- When you work the same type of job for multiple companies, such as "rideshare" for Lyft and Uber, you would classify that as one job in the Stride app. This is because both jobs have the same business code and will be filed together on your Schedule C.
- The same would go for delivery drivers such as DoorDash and Uber Eats, which share the couriers and messengers business filing code!
If you would prefer to keep these expenses separate, even if they are for the same type of job, you are more than welcome to create another Stride account! The accounts are free, and you can create as many as you like to help manage your independent work.
