Yes, absolutely! You can track multiple jobs with the Stride app. There is a "job tagging" feature that will allow you to separate your mileage from different jobs. This will allow you to tag mileage and expenses as belonging to certain job categories (rideshare, delivery, etc.).
To update your app's job settings, go to the menu of the app:
Select "Settings" > "My Jobs" > Tap on the job categories you'd like to track with Stride, then click "Save"!
After you've added additional jobs to your account, you can mark each expense and mileage record with the job that you were working on when you incurred the expense.
An important note about this topic:
- When you work the same type of job for multiple companies, such as "rideshare" for Lyft and Uber, you would classify that as one job in the Stride app. This is because both jobs have the same business code and will be filed together on your Schedule C.
- The same would go for delivery drivers such as Doordash and UberEats which share the couriers and messengers business filing code!
If you would prefer to keep these expenses separate, even if they are for the same type of job, you are more than welcome to create another Stride account! The accounts are free and you can create as many as you like to help manage your independent work!
