Managing External Accounts with Plaid
We use Plaid to connect your external bank to your Stride Save account so you can easily and securely transfer funds at your convenience.
Occasionally, your linked Plaid account may disconnect if your bank password changes or if your bank makes an update with Plaid. You may resolve the disconnect in two ways.
Option 1 - Reconnect Plaid
Go to Manage External Accounts and click “Reconnect”. You will be prompted to reconnect to Plaid with your username and password.
You must select all linked accounts to reconnect successfully. For example, if you have a linked Checking and Savings account, you must select both in Plaid to successfully reconnect your bank institution.
Option 2 - Delete and Re-Add Your Account
Occasionally, attempting to reconnect Plaid will be unsuccessful. In this case, we recommend deleting the linked institution and re-adding it. You can delete by clicking on the trash icon on the bank institution.
Deleting an institution will also delete any recurring transfers setup. You may re-add your recurring transfer on your account once you have re-added your institution.
