Being connected to Stride through a company or platform doesn't necessarily mean you'll receive a special discount on your health insurance.
Your health insurance premium is generally based on factors such as your location, household, income, age, and the plan you choose. You may also qualify for a premium tax credit (APTC) that can lower your monthly premium.
What does my company's partnership with Stride mean?
Health insurance purchased through Stride is generally individual Marketplace coverage, rather than coverage provided by your company.
This means:
- You can generally keep your coverage if you change jobs or platforms.
- You don't need to work a minimum number of hours to enroll in an individual Marketplace plan.
- Eligible members of your household can apply for coverage too.
Stride helps you compare available Marketplace plans and determine whether you may qualify for financial assistance.
Your company or platform may also offer additional health benefits or reimbursements outside of Stride. Check with them directly to see whether they provide any separate health insurance benefit.
Get started by comparing plans and prices in your area.
