Almost everyone living in the United States is eligible for health insurance through Stride. Stride sells 2 kinds of health insurance plans – Marketplace plans sold on the federal and state insurance marketplaces, as well as private plans sold directly by insurance companies.
If you qualify for a premium tax credit, you must enroll in a Marketplace plan to utilize the savings.
In order to enroll in a Marketplace plan through Stride, you:
- Must live in the United States
- Must be a U.S. citizen or be lawfully present
- Must plan on filing your federal taxes for 2024
- Can't be incarcerated
- Must not have access to other qualifying health coverage, including employer-sponsored coverage through your or a spouse's employer
If you do not qualify for a tax credit or Marketplace plans, you can still enroll in a private plan through Stride.
