Yes! You can add or remove a family member from your dental plan at any time during the year as long as your dental plan premiums are current.
You can include your spouse, domestic partner, children under 26, and any additional eligible dependents! Once approved, the price will adjust based on how many qualifying people you have on your plan.
To request to add or remove a family member to/from your plan:
- Login to your Stride dashboard here
- Select your dental application tab under "My Benefits"
- Click "modify plan" followed by "update plan", then click "family members"
- Finally, select the "submit" button
These steps will send an email to our Member Experience team who will then follow up with you to collect the necessary information to add or remove your family member or dependent from your dental plan.

Upon receiving your request, Renaissance will update your existing account to reflect your new plan changes. This change typically takes place on the first of the following month from when you initially submit your request.
Note: You will be able to continue to use the same ID cards you received previous to your plan change unless you're provided an additional subscriber ID by our Member Experience team after you've made your plan changes.
