How do I renew my health insurance for 2023?

To renew your health plan, you need to log into your Stride account and submit an application for 2023 coverage sometime before December 15th. 

If you are currently enrolled in a Covered California plan, you should have received a letter in the mail regarding renewing your coverage.

• If your Covered CA plan is ACTIVE and your household information has NOT changed since you originally applied, you will be automatically enrolled in the same health plan for 2023. 
• You will have until December 15th to submit a new application through Stride if you want to pick a new plan or update your household information. 
• If your household income, household size, or address has changed, you need to submit a new application through Stride to update your information for 2023.

If you are currently enrolled in a Healthcare.gov plan, you should have received a letter in the mail from Healthcare.gov and your insurance company regarding renewing your coverage.

• If your Healthcare.gov plan is ACTIVE and your household information has NOT changed since you originally applied, you will be automatically enrolled in the same plan (or the most similar plan) for 2023.
• You will have until December 15th to submit a new application through Stride if you want to pick a new plan or update your household information. 
• If your household income, household size, or address has changed, you need to submit a new application through Stride or your personal Healthcare.gov account to update your information for 2023.
