Telemedicine and telehealth benefits are specific to each carrier and plan. These type of benefits allow you to have a visit or service provided remotely by using a video chat on your phone or computer.
To find out if a plan covers virtual care (telemedicine) you will need to review the Summary of Benefits and Coverage.
Some plans are specifically focused on virtual care. This will be outlined in the name of the plan, as well as in the Summary of Benefits and Coverage.
To find the Summary of Benefits and Coverage, follow the steps below:
1. After you have filled out your personal information and have made it to the plan page. Click the details button for the plan you are interested in.
2. More options will drop down, scroll down and click on Summary of Benefits and Coverage
