There is a bug affecting some Android users on an older version of Stride, causing their drives to not upload to our servers. Instead of drives uploading, users are seeing "Your miles are being saved to Stride HQ and will show up soon." In some cases, this bug has found its way into new versions.
You can fix this issue immediately by reinstalling the app. Here's how to do so:
1) Delete the app from your phone (don't worry, none of your account data will be lost!)
2) Re-download the app from the Play Store
3) Log back in with the email address that you originally used to sign up
Unfortunately, this bug may have caused recent drives you recorded to not upload to our servers, resulting in a loss of those mileage recordings.
You can always add in those previous drives into your account manually using the 'Forgot to record a drive?' feature located in the menu of your app. If you're looking for ways to calculate and document these miles, I would recommend taking a look at this article here.
We understand that you choose to trust Stride with tracking your mileage and that you must be upset by this situation. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you.
