When you purchase health insurance, your premium price is locked in for the current year. At the end of your term or during open enrollment, you will have the option of renewing your plan to extend your coverage for another year. You may also switch to a different carrier and/or plan during the next individual open enrollment cycle.
It's worthwhile to look around again for different options each open enrollment cycle as carriers are free to raise premiums each year, and new options may be available on the market that better fit your needs.
Our website will show prices based on the current benefit year and those will be valid for the full calendar year unless your income, family size, or zip code change. Down the road for the following plan year, the same rules will apply and you'll want to come back and shop again!
