If you submitted an application for a health insurance plan and received notice that your monthly premiums were more than previously quoted, it's likely there was a quoting bug on our website. This could be due to a few factors
- If your birthday is in between when you signed for the policy and 1/1/2021
- A miscalculation of your advanced premium tax credit eligibility
- A data error on Stride's end
If you experience a price increase after signing for the plan, the premium you're seeing through Healthcare.gov or through your carrier is the correct one. If you’d like to change your plan, I'd recommend heading over to Healthcare.gov directly in case there are other issues with plan prices in your zip code.
Healthcare.gov can be reached by clicking here or calling 1-800-318-2596. You can access your existing application by providing the application ID at the top of your eligibility results notice that you should have received before completing the application.
If you do change plans, keep in mind that you must complete an application for 2021 coverage by 11:59pm on 12/15/2020.
