Oh no! It sounds like you may need to turn on location permissions for Stride Tax.
If you navigate to the Settings app of your phone, you can enable location permissions for Stride Tax. Make sure GPS is turned on for your phone as well!
Using an Android phone? Battery optimization or power saving settings can affect Stride Tax's ability to track your mileage consistently! We recommend turning these settings off, or whitelisting Stride Tax under your "Battery optimization" settings so your phone doesn't turn the app off while it's tracking mileage.
Using an iPhone? Running too many apps at once can affect your phone's ability to track your location. You may see improvement if you close any other apps that you're not actively using (by double tapping your home screen and swiping up on them) when you use Stride Tax.
Still not working? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the following details and we can get your app up and running again:
- The email address attached to your Stride Tax account
- A brief description of the problem you’re seeing
- The dates and times of some drives that were not recorded correctly
